“The Narrative of Sunlight No.1” is part of the series of kinetic light
installations. Holman works with an iterative process to translate her
fascination with the surrounding world into her visual language. The goal
of the work is to visualize escapism, inspired by the optical effects of
sunlight. Here, Holman is inspired by the forest landscape and the optical
play of sunlight lurking through the tree tops. The work is programmed in
a way that it chooses by itself where to navigate the light, keeping the
attention of the viewer. Holman creates works that create space for
contemplation, reflection, and the release of emotions.
