This work is an ode to Baas’ fascination with the concept of time. He is well known for his exclusive clock designs and installations. A part of his Real Time series, this work combines performance, design, and video art to create a 12-hour-long video indicating time. In the video, Baas is depicted moving falling confetti as minute and hour hands. Here, he investigates universal questions about time: is it nominal or phenomenal; subjective or objective? The work edges the time perception between the performer and the audience. Peculiarly, he plays with the fine line between the process of art production and the final version of the work.
