Troika
Troika is a contemporary artist trio formed by Eva Rucki (b. 1976, Germany), Conny Freyer (b. 1976, Germany). and Sebastien Noel (b. 1977, France) in 2003. The art group explores the relationship between man and technology, and the ways in which the digital world crosses over into the physical world. Working with elements such as water, electricity, and light, they emphasize the spatial experience, the synthesis of manmade structures, and the unpredictable, irrational. Their approach is both spontaneous and deliberate, controlled and random. Troika’s work has been exhibited in various locations, such as the MoMA in New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and M+ in Hong Kong.
