Levi van Veluw
Levi van Veluw is a Dutch multidisciplinary artist born in Hoevelaken in 1985. His work spans across multiple disciplines: installations, sculptures, drawings, and autobiographical films. His works draw upon childhood memories, and concepts of family and identity, inviting viewers to experience universal emotions. In his compositions, van Veluw plays with elements of order and chaos, structure, and symmetry. His works are made with delicate craftsmanship with the aim to evoke a strong, meditative mood. In his installations, the artist builds dark and sensory spaces for the visitors to disassociate from reality and question human logic. He received a number of awards and prizes and has been represented widely across Europe and the United States.
