Jessi Strixner
Jessi Strixner is a German artist born in Munich in 1992. She was raised in a family of traditional woodcarving craftsmen. Following the steps, she transformed the technique into an art style. Carved out of wood, she recreates everyday objects with a comic and whimsical tone. This way, she emphasizes the transformation of the soft fabric into a hard object, a simple commodity into a conceptual subject that relates to each viewer in a different way. Her works are exhibited in numerous galleries across Europe, such as Galerie Klose in Germany and Rademakers Gallery in the Netherlands.
