Harry Morgan
Harry Morgan is a British artist born in Manchester in 1990. Since graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Glass from the Edinburgh College of Art in 2014, he won several prizes worldwide, including the Award for Emerging Talent at the 2015 British Glass Biennale. He is best known for his sophisticated use of conflicting materials, such as glass and concrete. Referencing ancient techniques like Venetian glass-blowing and Brutalist architecture, he emphasizes the contrasting personalities of the two materials. This way, Morgan explores and challenges the sociocultural connotations glass and concrete hold within. He has participated in various artistic collaborations throughout the UK and the world, exhibiting in countries like Sweden, Dubai, the United States, and Germany.
