Caja Boogers
Caja Boogers is a Dutch artist born in 2001. A recent graduate of BA Fine Arts in HKU, his work has been selected for the Best of Graduates show in Ron Mandos Gallery in 2023. There, he was granted the Lakeside Collection Award 2023. With his work, Boogers attempts to influence the perception of the viewer. Working with the texture, and every layer of paint, the artist captures minuscule scratches and motifs that become a fundamental part of the subject matter. Continuously playing with the thin line between abstraction and figuration, Boogers invites the viewer to interpret and associate with the subject matter. An emerging artist, his work is rapidly gaining interest across the Dutch art scene.
