Suzette Bousema
Suzette Bousema is a Dutch artist born in 1995. Her work is specialized in
visualization of environmental topics, often a result of collaboration with
scientists. Being an interdisciplinary artist, her oeuvre spans across
photography, printmaking, glass-blowing, weaving, sound, and organic
materials. Her research-based projects are extensions of her previous
works, a continuous discussion realized through innovative techniques.
Bousema’s focus is a positive contribution to the discussion and
perception of natural sciences, and to keep climate high on the agenda.
With a promising artistic career ahead, she has already caught attention
both across the Netherlands and internationally.
