Menno Pasveer
Menno Pasveer is a Dutch painter born in Schiedam in 1998. A recent
graduate of the Royal Academy of Art in the Hague, he has already
participated in numerous exhibitions. His work ranges from complete
abstraction to the visual storytelling of autobiographical narratives. His
technique masterfully conveys his focus on the formal qualities of painting.
Pasveer illustrates the wide potential of painting on his canvases through
contrast: transparency and opacity, sharp edges, and smooth, rounded
brushstrokes. His repertoire explores such communication between
different energies, inviting the viewer to take in the minuscule details.
