Karel Goudsblom
Karel Goudsblom is a Dutch sculptor born in Amsterdam in 1960. Studied at Rijksacademie in Amsterdam, he centers around materials such as ceramics, polyester, and acrylic. His works are characterized by the use of colored plastic and a smooth, shiny surface. Goudsblom primarily depicts exaggerated, reformed torsos or parts of the human body in unnatural, fictional poses. He is also a bread artist in the multidisciplinary company MAMA, where his enthusiasm for the arts is complemented by the craftsmanship of baking.
