Jacco Olivier
Jacco Olivier is a Dutch artist born in Goes in 1972. He is known for fusing painting and filmmaking by repeatedly reworking his paintings in large, rough brush strokes and systematically photographing every stage of development. In the end, the photographs are combined into projected animations. He often takes inspiration from impressionism by reflecting on the serene and sweet atmosphere of nature and ordinary life. A graduate of the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, he has exhibited worldwide, notably in New York, Munich, London, Miami, and Venice.
